I am searching for my truth, the place where I belong. This search has taken me to several different places over the past 10 years. I am originally from the Boston area and spent 6 years living in Boston after college. Though I always knew that I would one day leave Boston, I loved most of my time there. I had a fantastic job organizing educational trips abroad for students- it was an incredibly rewarding job and allowed me to travel to Europe and Central America frequently. I made some of my closest and longest friends at that job.

After 911, when the travel industry took a dive,  I headed to Washington, DC to pursue a Master's in international affairs. Well, that didn't end up being the right fit for me afterall, and after being exposed to the government and furthermore after a short stint at the United Nations in Geneva, I pretty much confirmed that bureaucratic government work was not for me. So after being unemployed and frankly quite lost for a while, I ended up landing a job at a small start-up in DC. This time I was working on interactive maps! I worked my way into management, proceeded to help the company grow, worked like a dog, and experienced my first acquisition. That was a whirlwind! By the end of that I was quite burned out and ready for a change.

My time in DC was some of the best years of my life so far. I enjoyed most every minute of my time there and made some of the closest friends I've ever had. But after 4 years there, I was ready for a new adventure. So my most recent move has taken me across the country to Los Angeles, where I am excited to be in the warm sunshine, and to no longer have to deal with east coast humidity or cold winters! I am excited for an entirely different life, to meet new people, and to experience the next phase of my life.

So now on to the next adventure.. let the job search begin!
