Assassination of Benazir Bhutto

My heart sank when I just heard the news that Benazir Bhutto had been assassinated. She was the one beacon of hope in an increasingly dark and totalitarian society. She was a woman of the people and she was such a strong force for a civilized democracy in Pakistan. I am saddened today, and I am extremely worried about what is to come for the region.

I am deeply saddened too but I have a feeling that like many other martyrs, her work is not yet finished. It is because of who she was/is that this happened and I believe this may be the catylist for greater/more transformational things than what she could have done while embodied.
