Movies in the Cemetery?

Tonight I experienced my first film sitting on the grounds of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Surrounded by hundreds of elaborate graves, my friend Will and I sat and watched the 70's horror flick "Susperia". While the movie was interesting and entertaining (quite comical at times for a horror!), what I found to be the coolest part was that it was a true "Hollywood" experience. The scenery was amazing, with the tall, stalky palm trees set against the pink sky, and the Hollywood Hills all lit up in the distance. It really was awesome to realize I was surrounded by something so incredibly different from anything I've ever known.  Found myself thinking, "I can't believe I live in LA!". And the people watching? You can't beat this place! We saw all crazy walks of Hollywood life in this place.. hours of entertainment even without the movie!
