4,000 Dead in Iraq

I just saw the news report that we have reached the 4,000 mark. I am appalled. 4,000 American soldiers who never should have lost their lives, in a war that we never should have waged. I am so saddened by this tragic reality and even more so for the families of these brave soldiers. I hope that this war will end soon so that we don't ever have to see the 5,000 mark. And beyond American soliders, I shudder to think about how many innocent Iraqi citizens have lost their lives. Wake up America!

This is appalling..thanks for putting this out..I have a nephew that just returned from serving in Iraq. Thank God he survived intact. I hope America has the good sense NOT to vote in another Republican. John McCain is not the leader we need at time in the world's history.
